GPS DEVICES AT FSSAA GOLF SECTION EVENTS - The national committee wishes to announce that smartphones with golf GPS applications may be used in competitions unless:
1. The club hosting the event has a local rule preventing the use of such devices;
2. The national golf union of the host country has a rule preventing the use of such devices;
3. The device is not used to access the internet for advice and thus breaching the rules of golf;
The individual is responsible for adhering to the rules of golf laid down by the R&A when using such devices.
Dress Code at Sitwell Park:
Just a note to make competitors aware of the dress code at Sitwell Park G.C.One thing they are keen on is that if you wear shorts they MUST NOT have pockets visible on the outside!Its just a thing they enforce quite stringently.Ankle & Trainer socks are fine.Trainers in the clubhouse are NOT permitted unless the are all the one colour like espradrills.

congratulations go to Wales who won the team event by a mere 3 shots.

A fabulous week at the home of golf with fine weather and great support from all the players that qualified.

Congratulations to Leicestershire for taking the overall honours in the team event and West Yorkshire for winning the Team Gross trophy.
